It is not just roller coasters and other adrenaline-inducing rides themed around comic book and cartoon characters. But the upcoming Warner Bros. theme park in Abu Dhabi is going to be on a whole other level, featuring some pretty deep cuts from DC Comics lore. It includes 29 Rides, Shows and Attraction.
The Billion Dollar Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will be organized into six themed areas; Gotham City, Metropolis, Cartoon Junction includes Bugs Bunny and Scooby Doo , the Flintstones in Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch and Warner Bros Plaza. Gotham and Metropolis would be based on the fictional settings of DC Comics super heroes Batman and Superman, respectively. Warner Bros.’s Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera cartoon libraries would be featured in Cartoon Junction.
Warner Bros Plaza would mimic the Hollywood of the past.The restaurants in the area named after Superman’s city will be the Ace o’ Clubs, based on the joint owned by lovable palooka Bibbo Bibbowski, who was a staple of the 1990s Supers comics.
The Park is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi which also has Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld
